AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager with leading company initiatives, ensuring maximum productivity, training high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, driving sales, controlling expenses and shrink, and remaining compliant with company procedures according to AutoZone’s expectations. Shift Supervisors exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! Customer shopping experience on assigned shifts by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Assume responsibility for store operation and commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts.
3. Assist with management of the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service and delivery commitments are met.
4. Delegate and ensure timely completion of store merchandising tasks.
5. Operate cash registers and follow cash handling duties, including deposits, petty cash, and lane accountability.
6. Ensure all policies and loss prevention procedures are followed.
7. Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE practices.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and conduct proper procedures.
13. Follow accident procedures.
14. Provide performance feedback to the store manager.
15. Assist in risk and safety management activities.
16. Address customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
17. Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
18. Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager confidentially and promptly.
19. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity, and market products to increase sales and profits.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Demonstrates high integrity.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
