The position involves assisting the Store Manager in leading initiatives, ensuring productivity, training staff, driving sales, controlling expenses, and maintaining compliance with company procedures. Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Take responsibility for store operations and the commercial department during the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager.
3. Manage commercial and hub departments to ensure service and delivery commitments are met.
4. Delegate and oversee completion of merchandising tasks.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits and petty cash.
6. Ensure adherence to company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE compliance.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and conduct proper procedures.
13. Follow accident procedures and provide performance feedback to the store manager.
14. Assist in monitoring Risk & Safety Management activities.
15. Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
16. Manage returns and inventory effectively.
17. Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager confidentially.
18. Motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service, enhance productivity, and promote sales.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• High integrity and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
