This position involves assisting the Store Manager in leading store initiatives, training staff, driving sales, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Shift Supervisor aims to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, productive environment.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Manage store operations and commercial departments in the absence of the Store Manager and Commercial Sales Manager.
3. Oversee management of the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service delivery and timely deliveries.
4. Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure their completion.
5. Operate cash registers, handle cash duties, and manage deposits and petty cash.
6. Follow all company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Help customers locate merchandise using ZNET and find alternatives when needed.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE compliance.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Ensure store appearance, merchandising standards, and sales productivity.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures and manage emergency situations.
12. Provide feedback on employee performance to the store manager.
13. Monitor and manage Risk & Safety activities.
14. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
15. Manage returns and inventory effectively.
16. Communicate issues to the Store Manager confidentially and promptly.
17. Motivate staff to deliver WOW! customer service and enhance sales.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• High integrity and strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive customer service.
