Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Lakehurst, NJ. You will lead shifts, ensure exemplary customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety policies on a fast-paced travel plaza team.

Responsibilities include mentoring new staff, managing cash handling, and ensuring accurate operations from opening to closing. Flexible scheduling is offered, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Report observations or issues to plaza leadership and perform other assigned tasks.
