Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily shifts, ensuring team members deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to brand standards and food safety requirements. You will help train newly hired staff, monitor cash handling, and ensure opening, daily, and closing procedures are completed per policy.

The role involves POS operation, product knowledge, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
