Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Elizabeth, NJ, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams at Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon, ensuring exceptional customer service and strict adherence to brand standards and food safety.

You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, operate the POS, perform opening and closing procedures, and maintain product freshness and cleanliness across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures, including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
