Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service, driving restaurant profitability. The role involves enforcing company policies and ensuring compliance with laws and ethics, while managing staffing and operations across shifts.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and preferably Serv-Safe certification and prior shift-lead experience in a restaurant.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shifts and work areas to ensure quality products and service.
• Manage operations following company policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical practices.
• Maintain product quality, customer service, and cost controls during shifts.
• Provide shift coverage and correct problems using company tools and guidelines.
• Contribute to profit goals by managing inventory and cash handling.
