Job summary

Dairy Queen seeks an experienced shift leader to run a store effectively with attention to detail. You will assist the General Manager in operations, inventory, and staff development while upholding DQ standards and delivering a great guest experience.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, training shift leads, controlling costs, and ensuring food safety. A strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and performance is essential to exceed Fan expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, aiming for quality, service and atmosphere.
• Assist GM in business planning, budgeting and inventory control.
• Ensure PRIDE systems and routines are followed and staff are trained.
• Support in hiring, coaching and developing shift leads and crew.
• Handle customer concerns and maintain a positive store environment.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
