Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily cafe operations, ensuring exceptional hospitality and adherence to standards. You will manage inventory, training, and cash handling while driving sales and maintaining quality.

You are a capable leader with strong communication skills, a passion for coffee, and a commitment to team development and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Completed Blue Bottle Academy’s Barista training and validation program or will complete it within 90 days post-hire.
• Existing Food Safety Certification required for the state and role, or obtained within 30 days post-hire.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule; mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead cafe operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality and efficiency.
• Oversee service flow and manage inventory and ordering activities.
• Provide onboarding and training for new team members.
• Handle cash and daily deposits with accuracy.
• Address guest concerns promptly and maintain exemplary hospitality.
