Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Bethlehem invites applications for a Customer Service and Sales Representative. You will be the first contact for customers, processing registrations, handling sales, and presenting a positive image for the company.

The role may lead to a Shift Lead/ Supervisory opportunity as a key holder. Must work with children and families in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends. The position is part-time with 15–20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college or degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Salesforce and WAVE training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct calls professionally.
• Process student registrations using sales/customer service techniques.
• Schedule and manage birthday/pool parties, if applicable.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Assist members with purchases of merchandise and vending.
• Greet parents and students at the front desk.
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk area and observation area.
• Update informational displays with promotions and literature.
• Provide administrative support for management.
• Make collection calls to resolve open accounts.

Summary:

Applicant promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Education / Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
2. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
3. Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties. if applicable .
4. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
5. Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending.
6. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk.
7. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, Snack Shack area, changing areas, restrooms and observation area.
8. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
9. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
10. Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
11. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
12. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
13. Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
