Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative to greet families, handle registrations, and drive sales at the front desk. You will be the first contact for potential and existing customers, presenting a positive image and assisting with merchandise and event coordination.

The role may evolve into a Shift Lead/Supervisory position as a key holder; requires strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork in a fast-paced swim school environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college or degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service/administrative experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Salesforce training preferred.
• WAVE training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and screen calls professionally.
• Process student registrations using sales/customer service techniques.
• Schedule and manage birthday/pool parties if applicable.
• Resolve customer concerns/ complaints professionally.
• Assist members with merchandise purchases.
• Greet parents and students at the front desk.
• Maintain front desk and common areas clean and organized.
• Respond to voicemail and email promptly.
• Update displays with promotions and literature.
• Provide occasional admin support to management.

Summary:

Applicant promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company. Education / Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
2. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
3. Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties. if applicable .
4. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
5. Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending.
6. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk.
7. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, Snack Shack area, changing areas, restrooms and observation area.
8. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
9. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
10. Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
11. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
12. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
13. Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
