A dedicated swim school in Madison, Alabama, is seeking individuals passionate about customer service and sales for a vital role. Candidates will provide exceptional customer service, assist with memberships and billing, and manage class schedules. The role requires excellent communication skills, a high energy level, and preferably some sales experience. Qualifications

• Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide WOW Customer Service to our members
• Assist with class scheduling and billing
• Work in a sales capacity to sell new memberships
• Conduct cold and warm calls to potential customers to promote memberships and services
• Follow up with leads from inquiries, website sign-ups, and previous customers
• Handle objections professionally and help customers understand the benefits of our programs

Summary:

Promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and as such is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations. Know and live the mission and the Goldfish Swim School brand basics. Understand the GFSS Way.
2. Conduct cold calling to potential customers from lead lists
3. Follow up with warm leads via phone, text, and email
4. Explain membership options, class schedules, and promotions
5. Track customer interactions and follow-ups in the system
6. Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
7. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
8. Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties.
9. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
10. Assists clients with purchases of merchandise and vending.
11. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk.
12. Checks in students on the attendance tracking system.
13. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, snack shack area, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area.
14. Monitors snack shack area and provides guidance to snack shack staff.
15. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
16. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
17. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
18. Prepares twice daily student lesson schedules for use by instructors and management staff.
19. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
20. Work 1 swim instructor/lifeguard shift per week
21. All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred. Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred. Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.

Certificates and Licenses:

CPR, First Aid and AED certification preferred.
