Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to assist the Store Management team in driving store execution and customer service excellence. You will lead the store staff when managers are unavailable, ensure smooth operations, and oversee opening and closing procedures in a fast-paced CVS/pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes supervision, communication, and a customer‑first mindset, with a focus on maintaining store standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail supervisor (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support store management in driving store execution and performance.
• Supervise the store staff in the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Maintain stock and merchandise presentation; price items and reset departments as needed.
