Job description

Job Overview:Shift Supervisor (SS) for Burger King responsible for providing exceptional service to customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. The role assists the GM/AM in daily operations, maintains inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance, and completes daily paperwork. Candidates strategically train and develop a productive store team focused on brand promotion and exceptional customer service. The SS inspires teamwork, achieves sales goals, upholds operations, and creates a fun, energized environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a facility that is consistently “inspection ready” in all areas including food preparation, restrooms, and all guest contact areas.
• Comply with and maintain all Department of Health, internal company, and brand inspection standards.
• Follow daily Onvo Safety Inspection/Emergency Response protocols to recognize and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Establish consistent high quality of food preparation and service while maintaining a professional restaurant image.
• Assist the GM/AM to ensure a well-trained staff that meets and exceeds operational standards.
• Maintain inventories and store appearance, treating inventory as cash; investigate and report all inventory variances to the GM.
• Ensure all storage areas are clean, products organized, and labeled with the date received.
• Ensure all shifts are covered and properly staffed; coordinate daily assignments and associate activities based on sales.
• Assure proper execution of all cash management activities, including accurate cash handling, credit card processing, and safety procedures.
• Report any unexplained cash shortage over $5 to the GM or District Manager.
• Keep the restaurant compliant with all Brand standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and pass all internal operations training and paperwork audits.
• Ensure all brand-sponsored inspections are at or above brand standards.
• Provide superior customer service to all guests and uphold the restaurant’s brand image.
