Duncannon Burger King is hiring a Shift Supervisor responsible for daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and training staff. The role includes managing inventory and cash controls while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

Shift Supervisor (SS) for Burger King is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers with an entrepreneurial, sales‑driven spirit. The SS assists the GM/AM in daily operations, maintains inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance, and completes daily paperwork. A key priority is training and developing a productive store team focused on brand promotion and customer service.
Assures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, responds to complaints, solicits feedback, and regularly coaches the team to maintain high service standards.
Maintains an inspection‑ready facility, complies with Department of Health and brand inspection standards, and follows Onvo Safety Inspection/Emergency Response Protocols to quickly recognize and remove hazards.
Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, kitchen and dining area maintenance, and ensures compliance with operational standards and laws. Responsible for establishing consistent high food quality while maintaining a professional image.
Assists the GM/AM to ensure the restaurant has well‑trained staff to meet and exceed operational standards.
Maintains inventories and store appearance; treats inventory as cash; researches, discusses, and reports inventory variances to GM; ensures storage areas are clean, organized, and date‑labelled.
Ensures all shifts are covered and properly staffed; coordinates daily assignments and activities of associates based on sales.
Ensures accurate cash handling, credit card processing, and safety procedures; reports unexplained cash shortages over $5 to the GM or District Manager.
Strives to be the best in the Brand; maintains compliance with brand standards; ensures a safe clean work environment; passes all internal operations training and paperwork audit; and maintains brand‑sponsored inspections at or above brand standards. Provides superior customer service.
$14.50-$16 per hour.
