Volunteers of America-Greater New York is looking for a Shift Supervisor at Newton Hotel Family Shelter. You will assist clients, manage operations, and ensure safety while providing support to families experiencing homelessness.
A high school degree, relevant experience, and communication skills, especially with Spanish-speaking clients, are preferred. The role offers critical responsibilities such as supervising staff and providing emergency response.

Shift Supervisor assists clients and guests, ensuring that their requests are met. They coordinate the non-clinical needs of families and guests by greeting, managing, maintaining security, and coordinating the operations of the client care team. The Shift Supervisor orients clients to the program, engages clients in services, protects client rights, promotes client and coworker safety, and clarifies facility rules.
