Job summary

S:US is seeking a Shift Supervisor for their men's shelter in Brooklyn. The position is located at 599 Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233 and offers supervision and training to residential aides and community coordinators.

The Shift Supervisor provides supervision and training to residential aides and community coordinators. Responsibilities include coordinating work schedules, timesheets, and time-off requests, reviewing logs, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance is required.
• Ability to provide crisis intervention utilizing good interpersonal skills with a high level of maturity and responsibility
• Experience in office management and/or staff supervision is required.
• Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special need’s population is required.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
• F-80 (Certificate of Fitness for Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarms System(s)) is required within 6 months of employment
