GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a Security Monitor II to coordinate administrative and operational security on a designated shift at a residential re-entry center. You will lead staff, ensure post coverage, and oversee daily logs and facility checks.

The role requires a high school diploma, leadership experience, and a valid driver's license, with duties spanning shift leadership, incident response, and compliance with post orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as Monitor I or 2 years related experience; leadership preferred.
• Must hold a current and active driver's license.
• Familiar with community correctional operations, rules, and supervision training.
• Ability to write legible reports in English with proper grammar.
• Ability to plan, motivate, and react quickly to emergencies.
• Ability to work any assigned shift.
• Ability to work with computers and facility software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and operational security on a specific shift.
• Lead staff on the shift to maintain security coverage.
• Read and comply with post orders and ensure resident counts are conducted.
• Direct and train monitors, assign duties, and manage leave requests.
• Maintain logs, conduct facility checks, and report incidents to management.
• Ensure adequate staffing and participate in staff evaluations.
• Assist with training requirements and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and the public.
