Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended days and/or weekends.
• 2+ years in food manufacturing with production floor experience preferred.
• Experience in food processing, packaging, Quality, Supply Chain; GMP knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year in Continuous Improvement environment (Lean or TPM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deploy people development plans and ensure team competencies per plan with PM.
• Maintain a safe work environment and update work instructions for all positions.
• Meet quality objectives through GMP adherence, sanitation and food safety checks.
• Coach employees to fulfill job requirements; review targets and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain line controls; ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions and regulations.
• Manage industrial relations and ensure smooth operations on the factory floor.
• Ensure adequate skills distribution to meet production plan.
• Coordinate timely launch of new products with business unit.
• Oversee maintenance with quality, engineering and admin teams; maximize efficiency.
