Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of about 30 associates, ensuring safety, quality, and asset performance to meet the shift production plan. The role involves hiring support, onboarding, performance management, and cross‑functional collaboration on site to deliver consistent results.

Responsibilities include coaching, maintaining GMPs, enforcing SOPs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, OR 5 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing, OR 2 years in a leadership role in the United States Military.
• Work extended days and/or weekends with shift flexibility.
• Willing to work in a factory where ambient conditions may be extremely cold, wet or warm.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deployment of the People development plan and develop team competencies (training, equipment, safety).
• Enforce SOP compliance by all team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment and keep updated work instructions for all positions.
• Ensure processes run per SOPs/SSOPs and other documentation.
• Lead environmental and GMP-related quality checks and sanitation audits.
• Coach employees to meet job requirements using NCE approach and monitor targets.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address root causes of failures and drive continuous improvement.
