Job summary

Tyson Foods in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Prepared Foods division. You will lead a manufacturing line, drive output, maintain quality and safety, and coach team members across shifts to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in manufacturing; supervisory experience required.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of food industry processes and equipment; budgeting experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other facilities or corporate.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team; hire, train, retain; coach on benefits and company policies.
• Oversee daily production orders to meet customer demand; ensure accurate shipments and inventory rotation.
• Ensure all line workstations are staffed before shift start.
• Verify machinery is running and lines pass USDA inspections.
• Promote safety daily and lead monthly safety meetings.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to solve processing issues.
• Educate on quality and perform additional duties as needed.
