Job summary

Elevate Solutions Group LLC, located near the Atlanta Metro area in Austell, GA, seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations on 1st shift. You will supervise shift personnel, coordinate with maintenance, ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met, and drive continuous improvement using ERP/MRP data.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervision in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (required).
Ability to manage production, safety, and personnel issues in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work 2nd shift hours.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all shift production activities.
Ensure production targets, efficiency, and throughput goals are achieved.
Monitor line performance and address issues impacting output.
Coordinate staffing and adjust labor as needed to meet demand.
Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
Respond immediately to safety concerns and elevate when appropriate.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper use of equipment.
Ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards.
Stop production when quality issues are identified.
Partner with Quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Lead, coach, and develop shift employees.
Address performance concerns and elevate disciplinary issues as needed.
Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
Identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance.
Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate with maintenance.
Minimize downtime through proactive communication and follow-up.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production, inventory, and performance metrics.
Ensure accurate data entry and reporting for shift activities.
Review and analyze reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
