Job summary

Mondelēz International in Naperville, IL, seeks a Shift Leader to run a high-speed production line, owning safety, quality, delivery, and people on the floor while driving Lean/TPM improvements.

We expect a Bachelor’s in a related field and 1–3 years in fast-paced manufacturing, with GMP/HACCP knowledge and strong problem-solving. SAP and Microsoft 365 experience are a plus; growth paths include Sr. Production Supervisor and Line Leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Ops/Engineering/Food Sci/Business.
• 1–3 years in high-speed manufacturing (food/Bev/CPG preferred) or frontline team leadership.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation basics; comfort with Lean/TPM (5S, AM/PM, SMED).
• Microsoft 365 savvy; experience with SAP a plus.
• Clear communicator, calm under pressure, root‑cause mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safety first, always: lead start-ups, hazard hunts, LOTO, and audit readiness with GMPs/HACCP/FSMA.
• Legendary quality: maintain specs, CCP checks, metal/X-ray, net weight, allergen controls; implement standard work.
• Throughput: lead huddles, manage OEE, yield, and changeover time with Lean/TPM tools.
• People leadership: coach a skilled team, set expectations, celebrate wins, ensure cross-coverage and skills matrix health.
• Maintenance: partner with maintenance on Autonomous and Planned Maintenance; prioritize WOs and prevent downtime.
• Continuous improvement: lead mini Kaizens, use 5-Why/fishbone and basic SPC to reduce losses and update SOPs.
