Job summary
Mondelēz International is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee line activities, drive equipment maintenance, and uphold safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale targets. You will lead the shift, allocate resources, and coach teams to deliver on plan while eliminating losses.
The role requires strong leadership, frontline supervision experience in manufacturing, and a focus on continuous improvement and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years in current role + ready to promote + proven people leadership skills & capability
- Strong understanding of production line operations, quality checks, and safety requirements
- Experience with AM/PM and loss elimination is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prevent incidents by ensuring a zero-safety-incidents mentality on the line
- Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Promote 5S practices and standard visual management on the line
- Monitor quality standards and take immediate action on non-conformances
- Ensure production volumes meet the plan and are produced on time
- Lead, coach, and develop line teams; plan for succession
