This role oversees safe operation of the facility and directs plant operators and control room personnel to optimize production according to standard work and process conditions. The position requires 3–5 years in heavy industrial settings, plus strong planning, CMMS experience, and the ability to work shift schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in heavy industrial, hydrocarbon, or mining environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• CMMS experience; Ellipse preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pipe systems, pumps, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work shift schedules and in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work practices and lead the crew on shifts.
• Create shift plans from weekly work orders and guide daily assignments.
• Prioritize and plan work from the weekly packet; communicate tasks.
• Lead shift toolbox huddle and convey operating parameters and special tasks.
• Monitor quality and inspect completed work; close out work orders.
• Document shift performance and handover information to other operators.
• Identify deviations from the operating plan and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure incoming raw materials and outgoing products are loaded/unloaded efficiently.
• Recommend process improvements and oversee implementation of improvements.
• Coordinate plans and programs to achieve safety, quality, production, cost, and environmental targets.
• Other duties as assigned.
