Job summary

Origin Mining Company is seeking a Mill Foreman to lead daily milling and flotation operations in our copper-molybdenum processing facility in Arizona. You will coordinate crews, drive safety, optimize throughput, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining high product quality.

The role requires strong technical expertise, decisive leadership, and the ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term process improvement in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of mining experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of copper milling processes, including crushing, grinding, flotation, and tailings systems.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and drive performance.
• Solid understanding of safety practices and a demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage crews and coordinate across departments.
• Reliable, dependable, and decisive, balancing operational demands and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift activities by assigning tasks, organizing crews, and ensuring operational readiness across milling and flotation circuits.
• Supervise and support mill operations including crushers, grinding, flotation, and tailings management.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture with safety meetings, hazard addressing, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor plant performance and production metrics; make real-time decisions to optimize throughput and quality.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with crews, listen to concerns, provide direction, and foster teamwork.
