Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. seeks a Senior Supervisor Moly Processing at the Sierrita operations near Tucson, AZ.

You will supervise and coordinate the safe, efficient operation of a molybdenum processing unit, ensuring production plans are executed and safety procedures are followed. Candidates should have seven years of supervisory or lead experience, or a technical degree with three years relevant experience, plus strong knowledge of metallurgical processes and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in operational roles with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline plus three years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of supervisory methods and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continued operations of production shifts through the production plan and schedules
• Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning
• Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations
• Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained
• Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales
• Directly supervise first-line or shift Supervisors
• Perform other duties as required
