Nothing Bundt Cakes in Reno, NV is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts and support team members across all areas of the bakery. You will ensure guests receive outstanding service while upholding our high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

This hands-on role emphasizes coaching, opening/closing procedures, food safety, and a positive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
