Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Shift Manager Maintenance at our Tilden Mine site in Ishpeming, MI. You will provide management oversight of all maintenance projects, ensure MSHA safety standards are met, and coordinate daily and weekly work with the maintenance team to keep equipment and facilities operating reliably.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read and interpret Gantt charts, and CMMS experience (training provided).

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience or proven leadership in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret Gantt charts and schedules.
• Familiarity with CMMS software; training provided.
• Strong coaching and direction for maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance projects to ensure safe, MSHA-compliant work.
• Assign daily and weekly tasks to the maintenance team.
• Ensure quality and report deviations with corrective actions.
• Provide coaching, leadership, and direction to department personnel.
• Distribute work orders and relay progress to the senior shift manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
