Shift Manager
Assisting in the management of day‑to‑day operations by managing labor, counting inventory and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze labor, sales, and inventory on a continual basis.
- Ensure facility and equipment are maintained to company standards.
- Supervise others efficiently.
- Train new crew members and conduct formal crew performance appraisals.
- Assist Profit & Loss management by following cash control policy and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
- Assist General Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or restaurant experience preferred.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Ability to motivate and build teams.
- Ability to manage with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Customer service oriented.
- Previous quick service management preferred but not required; nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic Skills for Success:
- Cash management.
- Self‑initiative.
- Ability to multitask.
- Basic math skills to manage inventory.
- Ability to lead a team on shift.
Compensation:
- Starts at $0.50 over minimum wage during training.
- Between $1.00 and $2.50 over minimum wage after independent shift handling.
- Potential monthly bonus of $100–$250 based on manager shifts worked and ability to meet store goals.
