Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction while overseeing restaurant operations and directing team members during shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining accountability in the absence of management and driving performance across service, operations, and financial results.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, coaching skills, and a strong focus on food cost and labor cost control, while complying with health and safety

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification.
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations during shifts and direct team members to ensure outstanding service.
• Maintain accountability for restaurant operations when management is not present.
• Lead training and coaching of team members to improve performance.
• Control cash handling and inventory; implement restaurant controls.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
