Job summary

AES Restaurants is hiring a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and direct team members during shifts. You will be responsible for service quality, guest satisfaction, and smooth operations when management is not on site.

The role requires leadership skills, strong coaching abilities, and adherence to food safety and financial controls to ensure performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders for maintenance.
• Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and direction of team members during assigned shifts.
• Maintain accountability for operations during shifts when management is not present.
• Ensure team members provide outstanding service to satisfy guests.
• Assist management with training and coaching team members.
• Utilize AES systems to run the restaurant on all shifts.
• Implements restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
