Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety and security, overseeing profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a smooth transition. They also ensure departmental targets are met and may be responsible for meeting overall shift goals.
Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with a flexible schedule and the drive to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to manage within our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
