Responsibilities and Duties

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.

Shift Managers plan each shift, monitor performance, take action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitor safety and security, maintain profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift. Responsibilities include:

• Food safety
• Internal communication
• Inventory management
• Daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Managing crew
• Quality food production

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players, flexible, fun-loving, and ready to work in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years or older to serve as manager in a corporate-owned restaurant.
