Job summary

Wendy's Company is seeking a Shift Manager to lead Crew members, assign tasks, coach on performance, and ensure high-quality service and food safety. The role emphasizes training, supervision of QSC standards, and adherence to cost-control procedures in a fast-paced environment.

This position may involve opening or closing duties, with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and coach crew, delegate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, and follow up on Crew activities to ensure Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Provide guidance and coaching to crew members and oversee training.
• Follow cost-control procedures, monitor food prep amounts and adherence to safety guidelines.
• May handle opening or closing procedures.

Job responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through. Shift managers ensure proper training for crew team members and maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. To assist you in learning to be a successful part of our team, we offer on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.This position does not include direct supervision of other employees, however Shift Managers do monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) as well as execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost. Shift managers may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures.
