About the Position

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Oversee safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the next shift.
• Help assigned departments meet their goals and achieve shift targets.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our franchise‑owned restaurants.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $15.25 per hour – $19.75 per hour, based on experience and availability.
