Job summary

Subway is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager for their Lenox, Massachusetts location. In this position, you will ensure an excellent guest experience while supervising staff and maintaining high food quality standards. You'll also be responsible for inventory control and ensuring equipment functionality during shifts.

Responsibilities

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
• Controlling inventoryScheduling and supervising staff
• Being a team player

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

Prerequisites

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
