Subway is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations, guest experience, food quality, and cleanliness. You will train Sandwich Artists, schedule staff, manage inventory, and ensure equipment works.

This role may be full-time or part-time with day, evening, or weekend shifts, offering hands-on restaurant experience and opportunities for growth based on location.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Communication and organizational skills.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
