Job summary

Subway Brewerton, NY is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure a great guest experience, high food quality, cleanliness, and smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.

You will cascade training to Sandwich Artists, schedule and supervise staff, manage inventory, ensure equipment is in good working order, and complete required paperwork. Positions vary by location with full-time or part-time shifts; compensation is minimum wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
