Job summary

P. Terry's Burger Stand in South Austin is seeking talented Managers/Shift Leaders who are committed to providing a best-in-class guest experience and who thrive in a high-energy, high-volume environment. You will lead in both BOH and FOH, ensure food safety, inventory, cash handling, and smooth shift transitions.

Responsibilities

• Set up the stand, stock stations, order, inventory, cash handling and food safety walk.
• Count inventory and perform deposits and cash drawer counts.
• Keep stand clean and secured; lead stand in GM's absence.
• Support team, create a positive, proactive atmosphere, and focus on great customer service.

South Austin locations PT and FT/Day and Night Shifts Pay Range - $16 /hour to $ 18 /hour - depending on experience and certification level

Responsibilities

• Shift length can be 6-8 hours long.
• Setting up the stand which includes Stocking the stations, ordering, inventory, cash handling and food safety walk.
• Count Inventory.
• Do deposits and count the drawers.
• Have all positions cleaned and closed down.
• Make sure the stand is locked and safe.
• Being responsible and in charge of the stand while the GM is not present.
• Supporting the team and jumping in where needed.
• Creating a positive and proactive atmosphere, while having each other’s back.
• Focus on great customer service, treating our guests like family.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant

Requirements:

• Day and/or Night shift depending on needs
• Managers serve safe (we can provide for you if needed)
• 1 year of restaurant experience
• Ability to promote teamwork and develop and support others
• Ability to lift 35-50lbs.
• Ability to lift, reach and bend over for product.
