Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new hires, monitor cash handling, and support daily operations across travel plazas.

You will oversee opening and closing tasks, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate payments while maintaining product quality and safety across locations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Train new team members and follow brand standards and procedures.
