Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Team Lead to supervise store personnel during shifts, open or close the store as a key-holder, and coach staff for career growth. You will ensure customer service standards, handle complaints, and maintain records and store appearance.

The role requires 2–3 years retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work various hours is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of retail experience.
• Associate degree or related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Forklift certification required.
• Dependable transportation and a device for electronic communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Safe footwear required for work.
• Adaptable to growing, changing environment.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, and dust.
• Able to bend, reach, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Available to work Monday–Sunday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to meet standards.
• Open/close the store as key holder or team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach, and support team members for growth.
• Follow agency SOPs and safety/security policies.
• Adhere to task outlines for supervisory and performed duties.
• Greet donors/customers and ensure efficient, effective service.
• Address complaints and report issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency across all workstations.
• Keep store appearance and housekeeping up to agency standards.
• Assist with records and reports and attend meetings/trainings.
• Be flexible to transfer between Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
