Job summary

Golden Chick in Kerrville, MO is expanding and seeking a Shift Leader to join our team. You will support the management team in shift operations, supervise stations, and help ensure guests have an outstanding experience.

You will train crew, operate the POS, handle food safety, and keep work areas clean. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to develop leadership and hospitality skills at a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with shift operations and guest service.
• Ability to supervise stations and people during a shift.
• Willingness to obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in shift management and ensure guests have an outstanding experience.
• Supervise assigned stations for an entire shift.
• Direct, coach, and provide leadership to team members.
• Become certified in all stations including shift management, food handling, cash handling, customer recovery and catering.
• Assist with training and developing crew members in their duties and assignments.
• Prepare food, operate POS, and stock supplies as required.
• Monitor safety and security protocols are followed.
• Ensure workstations are clean.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Open or close the restaurant as needed following procedures and safety policies.
• Complete opening, mid-shift, closing, and food safety checklists.
• Communicate with customers, team members, and managers positively.
• Willing to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
