Job summary

Donatos Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager to lead quality and service systems in the restaurant. You will coach Donatos Associates to deliver high-quality food and friendly, honest service, and may open/close in the absence of a salaried Manager, handling administrative duties and safeguarding associates, customers and assets.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, inventory management, cash procedures, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely while meeting productivity standards.
• Able to stand and/or walk entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Occasional bending and twisting.
• 1-year experience as Shift Lead or Manager or Donatos equivalent experience.
• Can execute all items on the Shift Manager readiness checklist.

Responsibilities

• Opens and/or closes the restaurant with proper administrative procedures and completes assigned paperwork.
• Manages dough and day dots to ensure the best quality.
• Trains and enforces correct cash control procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for inventory of all stocked items, vendor orders, and invoice processing.
• Manages people, product, and equipment to deliver the Mission & Promise.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Adjusts staffing for business volume changes and manages costs through coaching.
