Job summary

Papa Johns is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas to ensure high-quality products and exceptional customer service at our Louisville restaurant. This role focuses on profitability, policy compliance, and restaurant operations across all company guidelines.

The position requires 18+ with the ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends. Prior shift-lead experience and Serv-Safe certification are preferred to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shifts and/or work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service.
• Adheres to station guidelines, performs duties, and maintains product holding times.
• Contributes to achieving product goals and meeting customer needs, following company policies.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and proper feedback when issues arise, maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Assists in managing costs, inventory levels, and cash handling in accordance with company guidelines.
