Job summary

Papa Johns in Kentucky is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and ensure high quality products and customer service while driving restaurant profitability.

You will manage operations, enforce company policies, ensure compliance with laws, mentor teammates, and keep the restaurant running smoothly during peak hours.

Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends, is expected. Serv-Safe certification is preferred, and prior shift-lead restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to station guidelines and performs duties for each station, including dough management and proper portioning.
• Maintains product quality, customer service, and meets company targets while controlling costs.
• Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook, including safety and security.
• Exhibits core values, maintains a positive attitude and works well with others.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides timely feedback to address issues.
• Manages cash and inventory per company guidelines to minimize loss.
