Job summary

Papa Johns is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and ensure high quality products and customer service in a Papa John’s restaurant. You will help manage operations, enforce company policies, procedures, programs and systems, and ensure compliance with laws and ethical business practices.

Responsibilities include station oversight, maintaining product quality, and contributing to profitability through effective shift management and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines and expectations for each station, including dough management, accuracy and portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the company’s product goals and customer satisfaction.
• Exhibits core values and maintains a positive attitude.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides feedback to correct problems.
• Manages inventory and cash handling, and supports cost controls.
