Taziki's Café is hiring in Madison, Alabama. This role involves serving guests, managing opening and closing tasks, and acting as the restaurant lead when a manager isn’t on duty. You will help maintain standards, learn the menu, and support or work kitchen stations as needed.

We offer a flexible schedule with no late nights, daily meals on shift, and opportunities for growth toward ownership. Training is provided, and prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks.
• Must have or obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after beginning employment

Aufgaben

• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Opening & closing tasks
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Prepping food and doing side work
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
