Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Process Lead for the Operations team in New York. You will report to the Site Leader or Manager and oversee Pack, Receive and Kitchen teams, coaching and motivating staff to deliver fast, accurate orders and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include directing all shift activities, coordinating coverage, training new associates, and ensuring safety and cleanliness audits are completed. This role demands flexibility with peak hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of internal Gopuff experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in improving processes and efficiencies; ServeSafe Certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack orders and receive inbound inventory during low vol / min staffed periods.
• Complete ICQA in low vol / min staffed periods.
• Support the associate team in gaps in shift coverage; use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product.
• Quarterback and direct all associate activities during the shift.
• Escalate site issues in real time to Site Leadership and Live Monitoring for assistance.
• Ensure completion of close/open checklists for OA team.
• Oversee execution of all facility operations and delivery processes for your shift; ensure next shifts are set up to succeed.
• Develop and train new associates within site and kitchen* (if Site Leadership unavailable).
• Manual intervention of driver routing & dispatching.
• Shelf move activities for reorganization & backstock.
• Execute site-specific projects or initiatives (audits, onboarding, food safety etc.).
• Conduct damage + expiry process audits; assist in meeting performance objectives (labor, orders, pack times, mispacks, inventory).
• Troubleshoot/root cause analysis for defects within shift.
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts.
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
• Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts.
• Complete additional assigned duties based on business needs.
