Insomnia Cookies Upper West Side store at 405 Amsterdam Avenue, New York NY 10024 is seeking a Shift Leader to captain the night shift, ensuring warm cookies, friendly service, and smooth operation from baking to checkout.

You will lead the Cookie Crew, coach team members, manage tasks, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and a positive, energetic culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a customer service role.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Excellent communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail-focused and results-oriented.
• Ability to lead-by-example and motivate others.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during the shift and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.
